Mercury Recycling Group
The Company was formed approximately 10 years ago, and floated on the AIM Market in May 2001 at 10p per ordinary share.

Mercury Recycling Group operates under a PPC licence from the Government Environment Agency, and is the UK's leading recycler of Fluorescent tubes, Streetlighting and other discharge lamp types, together with mercury bearing waste streams such as Dental Amalgam, Thermometers etc. It now also collects all types of Batteries for recycling. The Company recently moved to major new premises at the address below, which was officially opened on 4 November 2005 by Baroness Young, Chief Executive of the Environment Agency.

This site is the largest Lamp Recycling Facility in the UK. The Group now has now invested in new plant and machinery, allowing for a large expansion in its processing capacity. It is now capable of handling the substantial increase in recycling, anticipated when the delayed European WEEE Directive comes into force later this year.
