A new service for enlightened businesses.

Available throughout the UK, The Bulbsafe 48-Hour collection and delivery service is a one-price recycling service. We deliver a specially designed container for your spent Compact Fluorescent, 2Ds, PLL, Halogens and Mercury Vapour Lamps. When full you simply call us to collect. It could not be easier. The price includes rental of container, delivery, collection, recycling and Hazardous Waste certification.

Approximate capacity 300 mixed bulbs. For smaller lamps the quantity will be greater.
The dimensions of the container are 1ft x 1ft x 2ft.
If requested full containers will be replaced with empty containers at time of collection.

  • Supplies a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note certifying compliance with the Hazardous Waste 2005 (England and Wales) Regulations.
  • Provides a safe internal or external lamp storage facility

  1. Call the BULBSAFE HOTLINE, quoting your order number and requirements.
  2. Take delivery of your first Bulbsafe container.
  3. Having loaded the container, call the Hotline again and arrange a convenient date for a free collection.

We would like to reassure all customers during the crisis caused by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that we are still accepting requests and are ready to collect your waste Lamps, Batteries and Electronic Items.

We are closely monitoring the crisis and following the guidelines given by the government and the World Health Organisation.

If the situation should change we will post on the Mercury Recycling website (https://www.mercuryrecycling.co.uk) any changes to our operating procedures.

As this crisis has developed we would like to reassure you that our main concern is the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers and with this in mind we have made changes to reduce staff in our offices by allowing staff to work remotely from home and to keep customers fully informed with our waste services.
